Every quarter, Impact Ministry is coordinating an "Influencer's Hour of Prayer" meeting to encourage Christians to step out with prayer for our work, marketplace and our country. The prayer items from the first meeting are as follow;
THE POWER OF AGREEMENT IN PRAYER
Pray for Malaysia that God will:• expose and over-rule all deeds of darkness, conspiracies & wicked schemes and that His mighty hand will bring down all who mock His name and purposes for this nation
• cause the fear of God to come upon those in authority and convict them of their wrong unto repentance, and for those who continue in their wickedness, that God will deal with them His way
• protect the monarchy & all in authority and civil society who are standing up for His principles of justice, good governance & truth, & that He will grant them wisdom, moral courage & integrity
• raise His standard of righteousness in His Church and cause it to align to His Truth, to rise up & be involved in civil society that is now being oppressed by the wicked in high places
• overturn every wicked scheme to corrupt the upcoming 3 by-elections, and will raise up godly leaders who will work towards restoring good governance, democracy and the Rule of Law
Pray for ourselves that:• we will seek God’s forgiveness for taking our eyes off Him as our Security, Provider, Help & Protector, our Ultimate Boss & that we will not give in to fear & hopelessness because of negative reports
• we will have wisdom and courage to allow God to use us to reach out & minister care, offer hope and prayer to others around us who are terrified and feel hopeless, helpless
• we will remain faithful to God, diligent & faithful at work & trust God to preserve & protect us at our jobs, give us favor with bosses, clients, colleagues & subordinates so that those around us will see & know that our God is real & He alone reigns over every economic challenge, and that we can trust Him in these times
• we will hold steadfast to His higher calling & will prioritize His purposes in the workplace through our lives & testimony at work with the assurance that as we “seek first His Kingdom, all (these) things shall be added unto us”
